Preserving, growing and enhancing your wealth
Preserving wealth… means protecting you from outside risks, such as changes in the economy, government regulations, currencies, interest rates, inflation, taxes, the stock market – and risks related to your own health and longevity.
Growing wealth… means increasing your wealth after inflation and taxes – so in the future, you can do more of the things that are important to you.
Enhancing wealth… means making your wealth more accessible and ensuring it is used in the best way to improve your life and those you care about.
What is behavioral finance?
Behavioral finance – an approach to economics, financial planning and investing developed by Nobel Prize winner Dr. Daniel Kahneman - shows that people, including investment professionals, are much more strongly influenced by their emotions and biases than they think, and this causes them to make repeated mistakes with their investing and finances.
One of key lessons is that just knowing about the tendencies is not enough. You need to accept that they affect everyone, including yourself, and you need to have systems and processes in place to help avoid the errors they produce.
The Stan Clark Financial Team has built its entire approach to planning and disciplined investing to help remove the emotions and biases that behavioral finance describes.
In the video below, Stan Clark describes how emotions and biases affect our finances.
A well planned approach will help you achieve your life goals and dreams. We believe financial planning is so important that we include it as part of our services.
We break the financial planning process into bite-sized pieces and implement them on a schedule that is realistic and convenient for you.

Our investing philosophy
Our investing philosophy mirrors our overall focus on preserving and enhancing wealth.
We believe that successful financial planning and investing often requires going against the crowd and against some of our most deeply rooted human emotions. Our approach helps us do that.
In the video below, Michael Chu describes why we use rules-based strategies when investing in equities.
